Three Spectacular Pinot Noirs of 2021 Vintage Reviewed and Rated by James Suckling

We are thrilled to share with you our latest accolades from the 2021 vintage. This year, we crafted three exceptional Pinot Noirs sourced from some of the best vineyards in the Willamette Valley.

First on the list is our Et Fille Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Gabriella 2021, which received an impressive score of 94 points from James Suckling. This wine is a true representation of our commitment to quality winemaking, with its spicy and wild character and delightful aromas of raspberries, strawberries, nutmeg, toast, and licorice. The tight-grained tannins and wild berry fruit that evolves into spice and dark chocolate make this wine long and delicious. It is perfect for drinking now or holding for future enjoyment.

The second wine is the Et Fille Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Yamhill-Carlton Kalita Vineyard 2021, which also scored 94 points. This wine is a lively and fresh representation of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. It is filled with sour cherries, wild raspberries, and dried strawberry bush flavors, along with spicy herbs and orange peel notes. The medium-to-full-bodied wine has tense and compact tannins, firm structure, and delicious red berries. The blue-fruited flavor and beautiful acidity keep the wine nervy and toned. We suggest waiting until 2024 before opening this bottle.

Lastly, we have our Et Fille Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Eola-Amity Hills Palmer Creek Vineyard 2021, which scored 93 points. This wine showcases the unique terroir of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, with crushed raspberries, pink peppercorns, lavender, lemon zest, and rosemary notes. The elegant and tight structure with fine tannins and a sleek, peppery, and long finish make this wine very pretty. It is recommended to drink this wine from 2024.

We are incredibly honored to have received such high praise from James Suckling and believe that these scores are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. We are excited to share these exceptional wines with wine enthusiasts worldwide and hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.
