Our Vineyards
We are committed to sustainable winemaking
We own an estate vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains, but also manage blocks at six sustainably farmed vineyards located throughout the Willamette Valley. These sites represent the best of the major soil types of our region, which creates diversity between our wines and adds complexity to our blends of Pinot Noir.
PALMER CREEK VINEYARD
Eola-Amity Hills AVA
Why Palmer Creek Vineyard
When we decided to start the winery and look for available Pinot Noir, co-founder Howard Mozeico found the newly planted Palmer Creek Vineyard. We have grown up together since the beginning. What makes this site stand out is the meticulous care the owners take of the property and what makes the wines unique are their supple tannins with spice notes.

Et Fille 2021 Palmer Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir: “Pouring a vibrant ruby hue, the 2021 Pinot Noir Palmer Creek Vineyard comes from the Eola-Amity Hills and has more complexity and yet is also more transparent, with layers of fresh spices, grenadine, cinnamon, and fresh roses. Medium-bodied and energetic, with ripe tannins and an elegant perfume that lasts on the finish, it’s drinking wonderfully now and will drink well over the next 6-8 years.” -94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
KALITA VINEYARD
Yamhill-Carlton AVA
Why Kalita Vineyard
This place is located up 10 minutes of gravel roads that wind up to an amphitheater shaped vineyard that feels like it’s giving you a hug when you are standing in it. This was founded by Arthur and Sherry Kalita and sold to Sokol Blosser Winery. Sherry and daughter Alex designed Et Fille’s tasting room, so there are many layers of friendship with this partnership.

Recent Wines
Et Fille 2021 Kalita Vineyard Pinot Noir: “Aged in 40% new French oak and 20% one-year French oak barrels for 11 months, the 2021 Kalita Pinot Noir from Et Fille was my favorite of the lineup. A gorgeous shimmering medium neon ruby-purple core with a lighter pink rim, it pops with aromas of red and black cherries, crushed ripe marionberries, fennel fronds, toasted spice, and cedary herbs. I loved how the wine moved across the entire palate on the finish, with its sweet, smooth tannins and perfected acidity.” -95 Points, International Wine Report
FAIRSING VINEYARD
Yamhill-Carlton AVA
Why Fairsing Vineyard
When you are standing at the top of our block at the highest elevation in the vineyard, you feel like you are on top of the world. What makes these wines unique are the aromatic higher toned red fruit profile that goes into our Gabriella Pinot Noir, Heredity Pinot Noir, and Fairsing Vineyard Pinot Noir.

Et Fille 2019 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot Noir: “A 2019 with some pretty and relatively ripe fruit notes, as well as hibiscus. It’s medium-bodied with a tight palate and a creamy finish. Hints of dried citrus at the end. Drink now or hold.” -92 Points, James Suckling
DEUX VERT VINEYARD
Yamhill-Carlton AVA
Why Deux Vert Vineyard
This is a warm lower elevation site, which is why we think clones such as Viognier can ripen here. What stands out about the Pinot Noir we historically made here are the intense tannic structure and what we think makes the Viognier unique is that the cool climate Willamette Valley allows crisp acidity.

Recent Wines
Et Fille 2023 Deux Vert Vineyard Viognier: “The winemaker and her daughter went the extra step by using their own two feet to stomp these grapes prior to pressing. They credit their pigéage with boosting the wine's aromatics, which include honeysuckle, pear and wet slate. This is a crisp, lean Viognier that sports yellow apple, peach and lemon verbena flavors that seemingly last forever.” 92 Points and Editor’s Choice, Wine Enthusiast
MARESH VINEYARD
Dundee Hills AVA
Why Maresh Vineyard
When we started the winery, co-founder Howard wanted to work with this highly regarded vineyard planted beginning in 1970 by the force of the wine industry, Jim Maresh Sr. It remains a tremendous honor to work with this heralded site with what is now called Block Howard. What stands out about the wines are their earthy minerality, richness, and elegance.

Recent Wines
Et Fille 2019 Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir: “A wildly elegant and beautifully aromatic Pinot Noir crafted from the highly sought-after Maresh Vineyard fruit, 50-year-old vines, atop the Dundee Hills. Fantastic, gorgeous aromatics of turned earth, black tea, forest floor, and notes of early-season blackberry. The palate is light and lively, with red and blue fruits, clove, anise and a delightful savoury character. A wine that reminds me why Oregon Pinot Noir is my first love.” -95 Points, Decanter
LE PAVILLON VINEYARD
Dundee Hills AVA
Why Le Pavillon Vineyard
For many years, we were searching for an old vine block of Pommard in the higher Dundee Hills. We expected this to be similar to nearly next door Maresh Vineyard, but it is much darker, richer, full of blackberry and briar notes, so it adds depth to the Gabriella Pinot Noir.
Vineyard Specs
AVA: Dundee Hills
Soil Type: Volcanic Jory
Sustainability: Organically and biodynamically farmed
Elevation: 585’-685'
Et Fille Clone: Pommard, Wädenswil, 114, 115

Recent Wines
Et Fille 2021 Gabriella Pinot Noir: Named for the winemaker's daughter, Gabriella is the top Cuvée each vintage, with the 2021 vintage coming from Le Pavillon and Fairsing. The higher percentage of newer oak, at 66%. The goal of the Gabriella is ageability, so whole cluster and new oak are typically turned up, but only 13% whole cluster in the 2021. Rich, turned earth, ripe cherry flesh, and subtle clove spices.—aromatics of white pepper, green tea leaves and spiced dried blood orange. -95 Points, Decanter
MOZEICO VINEYARD
Chehalem Mountains
Why Mozeico Vineyard
This is where it all started for us. Co-Founder Howard Mozeico originally planted this as a small “test vineyard” at his home in 1986 and Jessica significantly expanded it in 2022. It is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
Vineyard Specs
AVA: Chehalem Mountains
Soil Type: Jory volcanic
Sustainability: Organically Farmed
Elevation: 1000’
Et Fille Clone: Pommard
Owners: Jessica and Mona Mozeico; Founder: Howard Mozeico in 1986
Recent Wines
Et Fille 2021 Gabriella Pinot Noir: “Named after Jessica’s daughter, the 2021 Pinot Noir Gabriella is a blended selection of top wines sourced from the Fairsing Vineyard and Kalita Vineyards in Yamhill Carlton, as well as La Pavillon in Dundee. While they always over-vintage this cuvée, they did not produce this wine in 2020. The 2021 Pinot Noir Gabriella pours a medium jeweled red color and has a layered bouquet of incense, delicate toasted floral perfume, preserved cranberries, and tea leaves. There’s fantastic clarity and intensity on the palate, with a more crystalline feel, ripe fruit, well-defined tannins, and refreshing acidity. Salty and complete and long on the palate, I would be thrilled to have several bottles stashed away in my cellar. Drink this over the next 15 years.” 95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck
