Some moms saw their jobs disappear. Many moms didn’t stop working, but found their parenting duties increased. Some unexpectedly became virtual school teachers, while others became grandmothers providing much more child care than they had planned during retirement. Still others felt their heart break as they couldn’t see their children or grandchildren.
